Citidel Paint Flamer

I picked this up today, hopefully it will alow me to paint my scenery and larger peices like my tanks easier and quicker.

Anyone have any experience with this tool? Any Advice?

  1. I've used one for doing my tank company. I think that it's quite easy to use, just make sure you have a couple of cans of propellant as after spraying for a bit with one can the performance will drop, so then you can just quickly switch to the other can. Also put the cans in your pocket when you are spraying, this helps to keep the can your using warmer to save on changing.

The only other thing is that I found that after each use it's good to take the whole nozzle assembly apart for cleaning. Hope these comments help.

  2. I'll give you the same advice that was given to me. If you like using it, go out and buy a proper dual action air brush and compressor. I spent more than 100 bucks on those propellant cans doing my tanks, which would have basically paid for a much nicer setup up front. The GW product used the razor blade model for sales. Those propellant cans get expensive really quickly.
